Pros

The view is nice sometimes.

Cons

SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is probably the most disorganized & unprofessionally run multi million dollar company I have ever worked for. There are a laundry list of operational issues that make this one of the most uncomfortable workplaces I have ever worked at. -the uniforms are VERY uncomfortable, and NOT size inclusive. -Don’t bother with their “laundry service” you might not get your clothes back. -employees share lockers (daily) 2 people per 1 locker! -absolutely no privacy in what they call “changing rooms” -Unfinished, small break room. That is packed with all 5 departments within SUMMIT at any given hour. HUGE COVID HAZARD!!! -The ONLY restroom is on the 91st floor and a majority of the employees congregate on the first (basement) level!!! LIKE WHAT?! -Severely understaffed! There’s reason behind their god awful turnover rate. to name a few. as for management… there is none. and directors lead blindly with no direction. you are consistently met with the run around, excuses, and no accountability whatsoever. They love to throw around “well we’re new, please be patient, we’re working on it…” it’s been eight months. EIGHT. no amount of mental health days could help you recover from the regular stress this job will bring you. You can make the same hourly rate at literally ANY other place and avoid the massive headache it is to work there. and as for SUMMIT. the bare minimum is being met and you charge a premium price of $100 all in. There’s plenty of room in the budget for lavish parties, music videos, and private events but not a single dime is re-invested in the care and hospitality of their DEDICATED, HARD WORKING EMPLOYEES. do not get trapped.

Pros

The views and the pay are good.

Cons

Stressful environment if you’re not ready to assist 7000 people per day. You will turn into a cold hearted robot. They will fire you with no warning over an honest mistake. People come and go all the time. You have to be a favorite to move up.

Pros

21/Hr starting pay VERYYY flexible. there's times of the year where u can pick up at least 50 hours or even as little at 12 "Easy work", you direct people, tell them what to do and what not to do

Cons

- management is so disorganized!!! not only general managers but the higher ups - the employees there are SOOOO rude. I have been uncomfortable at work many a time and feel it has made me more shy due to the amount of rude people they higher - some managers are also very rude and unprofessional - HR is also very rude and there are many people who have had bad experiences with them - Need ID access to get into the locker room BUT GET THIS they dont give you access right away :) so while youre supposed to be off work youre running around trying to get someone to let you in making you leave work MANY A TIME HALF AN HOUR LATER!!! - Have many leads who are inapropriate and could be reported for sexual harassment... - Management treats ambassadors like children, there are literally NO perks you get from this job. - If you're An actual professional and value your time I wouldn't work here tbh. its a huge headache and waste of time... literally the only good thing is the pay
