Pros

Highly collaborative culture with strong cross-functional teamwork and opportunities for short-term “gig” assignments. Significant investment in new manufacturing buildings, creating project work opportunities. Supportive and inclusive environment; leadership communicates through emails, town halls, and coffee chats. Excellent learning and development programs; managers encourage career growth and internal mobility. Tuition reimbursement available for undergraduate and graduate degrees. Comprehensive benefits: outstanding healthcare (low deductible PPO, FSA), 1.5x retirement match, annual bonus targets typically met, and wellness incentives. Flexible work culture: generally on-site 4 days/week with flexibility for appointments or illness; generous PTO and easy approval. High job security and positive long-term outlook; layoffs are rare and often voluntary early retirements. New CEO provides clear strategic direction and reinforces company mission.

Cons

Large company structure can slow decision-making and implementation. Swiftwater site is aging and could benefit from modernization. Limited meeting room availability can hinder collaboration. Significant tribal knowledge; knowing the right person is often essential to get information.

Pros

To quickly go through the pros of working for Sanofi: - Great middle management and excellent upper management willing to meet with even new associates to give advice, network, and just exchange pleasantries. - Flexible-ish working hours (if you come in early, a lot of times you can level early, and vice-versa). - Nice, friendly younger associates, contractors, and temps (all ages 21 to 25), but with some problems with the lower managers who lead them (see cons below).

Cons

In our organization, lower to lower-middle management often consists of individuals in their late 20s to early 30s who may exhibit some power dynamics despite having only 2-5 more years of experience than their subordinates. Compensation varies significantly, with associates, temps, and contractors earning between $60K and $90K annually, depending on their level and department. While this pay is reasonable, it falls short compared to those with just a couple of years more experience, who can earn between $75K and $100K. Furthermore, individuals with 3 or more years of experience often start at $100K, with some earning upwards of $150K or $200K in special cases. I'll simply finish by saying if you are willing to tough it out and do the grunt work for the first 3-6 months that you are here, you should be able to get promoted in a year (that is what I'm on track for I believe). And, by about one to two years, you'll be in more secure / senior-esque role that is paying you at least 12K more a year. What you want to deal with and for how long (in a tough job market) is up to you though.
