Pros
Really fun company culture. Food trucks twice a week, ice cream man in the summer, gingerbread house competitions at Christmas time, and a chili cook off and costume contest for Halloween. The company is also very family friendly and hosts multiple events where kids (and dogs!) are welcome. Management is all about showing initiative. If you have an idea or a project you'd like to take on, they are fully supportive. It's an amazing environment to learn and grow in your career - hard work here definitely pays off. As long as you keep your eyes open for opportunities, there really aren't many limits to where your career path at GEL can go.
Cons
As with any company that's been around for years, some employees are resistant to change. Luckily this isn't the status quo.
