Pros

work from home that is it!!!

Cons

Employees have to follow a MANDATORY (Robotic) 22 question script when booking a reservation. Agents are rated based on those 22 questions, which don't always apply. Your raise is contingent upon your rating so clearly, the scores are ALWAYS low as an excuse to not give you a raise. Low ratings are a form of punishment for not asking ALL 22 questions. The people who rate you are not taking phone calls, so they are back-seat drivers with a title. The agents have to book and know about 100 different hotels, while dealing with rude guests, who don't want to be asked 22 questions during each call. The company is short-staffed, yet continues to take on more hotels, which means more $$ for them, but no pay raise for the agents who are taking 100's of calls. Agents are discouraged by the amount of calls, low ratings, low pay, and the high call volume. Although you work from home, you are micro-managed by the back-seat drivers at all times, and even get "Mystery Shoppers" who are also rating you, making you a sitting duck at all times. These are not "lead by example" managers who roll up their sleeves and help out during very busy times; they just sit back and watch you closely. This company is Family-owned, which means family members get special treatment /jobs.

Pros

Work from home and flexibility on hours

Cons

It's disappointing to read how the other reviews are viewed as fraudulent. When will management realize those thoughts of previous employees are how the majority of us feel. Allow employees to speak their minds without repercussions. Someone posted about the 22 point questions needed to ask the guest are ridiculous and that is correct, they are. Agents are open to take calls from about 100 hotels on a daily basis. There is no open door policy here although you will be told there is. I just have to keep my mouth shut and listen to the feedback and complaints from agents here a lot less time than me. Nobody wants to hear their issues, or our older agents. There is no room for growth here. If you don't do your job their way with your mouth shut they will find someone else who will and won't think twice about how much you have given them. They couldn't care if you have been here 5 years or 1 month. Beware it is all a big connected family at the top. You would think that would be a nice feature but it is far from the truth. You will never be looked at fairly no matter how good you do. There is no praise ever here. Don't expect it. But they will be sure to let you know when you don't dot an I.

Pros

Pros, well if you want to work from home this gained employment is a way to do so.

Cons

Structure is lack therof to say the least, implemented rules based on performance is ok when correctly done so, which isn't one of this companies strong suits. Favoritism is strong and well known, excuses and reasons are given for failures and room for growth is non existent. They promote those who talk well, but have no real applicable knowledge of which truly happens. Management feels strongly on basing performance off phone calls of which they themselves do not do. Belittlement and scrutiny at it's finest. To say the least this company has potential but under the arrangement they currently work with, well good luck.
