Pros

Pay, if you negotiate during the interview process and start with a higher salary.

Cons

EVERYTHING but the pay (at least for me). Regional management is useless and does nothing but talk on the phone for hours about nothing and never does any actual work (or even know how to use the system). Revolving door of employees.. there's no support and no one stays. The company does not pay their vendors.. NO ONE wants to take your calls to get things done because the company owes them thousands and thousands. What does the company do about it? Tell you to call another vendor so we can use them up before moving to the next. The CEO at the top is either clueless about what's going on in his company or just doesn't care. Maintenance issues not addressed. Residents without working appliances and a backlog of work orders that keep being pushed out. You do not want to be an employee of this company, a vendor for this company or even a resident of one of the company's communities. Very mismanaged and poorly run business.

Pros

Absolutely nothing. You think you’re being paid well… it’s because they’re going to rely on you to do acts of God but not pay their bills or offer support. To them, all you are is an absolute failure.

Cons

Upper management - a waste. Goals - unachievable. Good luck getting your vendors paid. Have a project that is required, good luck getting approval within two months. Have a concern, better not bring it to light. Need support, yeah right. That word is not in their dictionary. You get nothing but negative spotlight and endless meetings that take you away from all the topics you’re attempting to better. And the meetings you’re attending are just acts of embarrassment in front of many people you’ve never met in your life, multiple times a day. Instead, you’re being told repeatedly why you’re not fit for the job. Or everything you’re lacking. You don’t get the time to redeem yourself unless you can turn the property around in 24 hours. If not, might as well resign or await your termination, because you’re on the chopping block 24/7. Need a day off, too bad. You’re a slave to this company.

Pros

None, this Company is the worst I have seen in my 25 years. Cheap is an understatement. They do not pay the vendors, earned bonuses and commissions are paid whenever they get around to it. They buy A properties and run them into the ground. The actual motto of the Company is "We do more, with Less". They hired a bunch of inexperienced Regional Manager's who treat the Owner like a God, it's cultish. Any experienced RPM would laugh at the things that come out of the Corp Office.

Cons

Everything with West Shore is a con, all the way up to the Owner. Cheap, Untrusting, and Unethical. If you want to know everything that is wrong with Property Management, work for West Shore!
