Pros

Most people are friendly and approachable Decent benefits plan Family owned business and good business culture, but only at the top level in the U.S Culture in Sydney is very un-australian due to heavy international influence from specific regions

Cons

Appointed managers are tactless and lack people skills (only exception here is the cloud managers) Management tends heavily towards micro-management Working from home is not allowed Promotions are politically motivated, rather than based on actual leadership skills

It sounds like you were very frustrated in the Sydney office. We are continuing to grow our mentoring program and always looking for ways to increase training. Promotions happen throughout the organization, as deserved by hardworking employees. As with any strong company, these are based on merit and performance. We wish you the best in your future.

- Low pay - Politics in management - Does not understand the Australian employees needs - Doesn't care much about offices outside of US - No room for growth

It sounds like you are very frustrated and we do take concerns very seriously throughout all of our offices. Our HR and Finance teams use quantified salary data to benchmark against Australian national norms and are reviewed annually. Yardi’s medical plan is a voluntary benefit and you are able to opt-out of healthcare if it isn’t working for you due to recent tax law changes in Australia. We encourage you to call or email our VP of HR anytime to further discuss. There will never, ever be retaliation and we genuinely care about what you have to say. Thank you.

We see that you are very frustrated in the Sydney office. We value feedback from each of our employees and take your concerns very seriously. We offer a broad level of benefits that we provide to each employee in Australia, including an annual education stipend to help promote continued education, private healthcare for employees and their dependents, extended maternity and paternity leave, Yardi profit sharing, monthly office social and team activities, and participation in local community service initiatives. We are very transparent with our employees and encourage them to directly call our VP of HR or Executive Vice President if they feel like they are not being heard. We wish you the best in your future.
