  • We continue giving back to our military veteran families and are happy to announce that this is the first, of series of iPad donations to the Fisher House Foundation homes. We donated iPads to the Fisher House in Hines, IL., where families of veterans receiving treatment at the VA Hospital, are welcome to stay at no cost.     Back to Basics Healthy Weight Advice | Combined Insurance

    Employees at Combined Insurance have been invited to participate in their parent company, Chubb's, "Team up to Slim Down" healthy weight loss challenge. With some great prizes on the table, Supplementally Speaking spoke to Lia Templeman, a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer at the corporate location of LifeStart Fitness in Chicago, to get some basic, healthy weight loss tips that anyone can follow.

  • Military Spouse has named Combined Insurance the nation’s #1 Military Spouse Employer! We are proud to provide meaningful employment opportunities for military spouses. Check out this issue of Military Spouse, and read about what Combined is doing for this important cause on pages 18-19.

  • We are proud to help support OneSight, whose mission is "to bring eye exams and glasses to the 1 in 7 people on our planet who lack access to vision care." This week OneSight held clinics for the Chicago Public School children, offering free exams and glasses to hundreds of students. Combined Insurance helped support this effort as their corporate sponsor, and several of our employees gave their time to volunteer.   • 'Tis the season of giving... Combined Insurance continued our founder W. Clement Stone's commitment to giving back to the communities in which we live and work during the USO of Illinois Sweet Home Chicago Care Package Event. Volunteers from the USO of Illinois and Combined Insurance came to our corporate office today at Triangle Plaza to fill care packages for the members of the Unites States Armed forces who are deployed during the holiday season. We filled the packages with snacks, shampoo, toothpaste and other health items, and hand written notes. Thank you to everyone who helped connect our service members to home and country during the holiday season!
