    CMOs At CES Wield Influence And Create Additional Programming In Support Of Women Leaders

    The initial response was swift and charged. About a month ago, GenderAvenger, a group that works to ensure that women are "represented in the public dialog," noticed the lack of women keynote speakers at this year's CES-the annual Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas-and put forth an action alert calling for CES to right that wrong.

  • AI will be the most important technology of the 21st century, transforming every customer experience, company and industry.

    Part of the reason why some folks dismiss it is the reality that this is incredibly hard to do and the barriers to entry are huge. You need to have machine learning software with self-adapting predictive models, the compute power to process petabytes on demand, a constant stream of real-time data at scale and most importantly the talent. There's a reason why Google, Facebook and Amazon are now all "AI-first" companies.

    So for me, this isn't a question of whether AI is "over-hyped". Is it a buzzword today - sure...and it is used by lots of pretenders. But that doesn't negate the fact that AI is very real and if you aren't working on your AI strategy today you are already behind. My focus is on helping brands grow in the AI era.

    Steven Wolfe Pereira Joins Quantcast and Its AI Drive

    Quantcast has tapped Steven Wolfe Pereira as its first-ever chief marketing officer, the company said Friday. Wolfe Pereira was previously chief marketing officer at Neustar. Julie Fleischer, VP of product marketing at Neustar, is expected to handle the bulk of Wolfe Pereira's former duties. San Francisco-based Quantcast touts itself as a leader in artificial intelligence.
