We’re not remote-first. We’re strategy-first. Cloud HQ is our intentional, distributed model that cuts out the politics of proximity and drives deeper connection and innovation across the company. Chief People Officer Dan Spaulding breaks down why it works: ➡️ We document and share our strategy clearly, so every employee knows how to operate within it. It’s baked into our culture. ➡️ We prioritize in-person time, too. Our annual zRetreats bring teams together to build trust and alignment. ➡️ And it’s working: Business results are strong and job applications quadrupled after we moved our headquarters to the cloud. The business is consistently outperforming in residential revenue and 94% of employees say they’re proud to work here. That pride shows up in everything we build.
The Women's Impact Network (WIN) plays a crucial role in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for women at Zillow. WIN is an employee-led group that creates spaces for women to share common interests, build trust and develop relationships. It also provides leadership and professional development opportunities, helping women advance in their careers. In partnership with ENVSN Festival, we were able to bring WIN’s initiatives to life at the 'We All Sit' Brunch. This networking event created a valuable space for women to connect and collaborate. It was a testament to mindful community building, bringing together women leaders in real estate, sales and marketing to uplift each other, celebrate successes and provide tools to accomplish their goals. Last week, we shared our new standards focused on listing transparency — ensuring for-sale homes are marketed to all buyers, not just a select few. Now, the Consumer Policy Center (CPC) is backing that decision, calling it a “consumer-first” step that promotes fairness in real estate. According to CPC, private listing networks reduce transparency, limit buyer access and disadvantage sellers. Their message to the industry: 👉 Support Zillow’s efforts to keep real estate open, competitive and equitable. We couldn’t agree more. Our mission has always been to help people get home — and that starts with making sure everyone has access to the same information. 🔗 Read the CPC’s full statement here:
