What is the salary like at 3 Day Blinds?

There is plenty of opportunity to make good money, but in Minnesota it feels very seasonal. If you're okay with making 5k one month and 1,400 dollars the next then you'll be fine. Technically you can make your own schedule.

You have to work on the weekends and benefits are minimal. They treat you as if you're a full time employee on a base salary but the reality is that you make a 0 dollar base and are 100% commission. It is certainly not the worst place I have worked but it can be more stress than it's worth for the overall compensation.

Most of the folk you work are decent human beings. Managers are full of pressure which trickles down in harsh ways. Understandable but stressful.

Low pay, just part of window coverings though, never been a great paying industry. Even though they are owned by the biggest shade company in the world the processes are clunky at best. Stuck between a corp and mom / pop mentality.

Bonuses are largely based on self generated clients and bonuses are the majority of your pay if you want to do well. Company often runs out of products even after orders are placed. They require the sales team to handle the majority of customer service even when they have an hourly paid customer service team

The training is very organized and well thought out. They really want you to succeed and give the Designer all the tools to do so. Extra pay per order in the beginning to give you time to build it up. Appointments are loaded into your calendar. Bonus is increased if you bring in your own business. Benefits are fantastic! This position is the closest to owning your own business but with the strong and recognizable name. Great work/life/balance Love meeting with the customers and helping solve their needs

It takes 6-8 months to get the hang of it because there is a lot to learn depending on your background.
