I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at AECOM (Melbourne) in Sept 2015
Interview
Applied online with resume cover letter and answered 5 questions
Got an email asking me to complete an online interview where they showed me three questions and I would have 2 minutes to answer then submit. The questions from memory were;
- Why do you want to work for AECOM?
- Greatest Uni experience?
- What are your strengths and why would this suit the grad position with AECOM?
From there i was asked to come in for an interview (3 months later!)
This interview with formal with a panel of two - team leader and HR representative.
40 minutes. The questions I remember were:
Why is EIA important?
A technical study you have done?
Why work at aecom?
How did you hear about it?
What attracted you to the company?
Time when someone disagreed with you?
Difficult group situation you have been involved in and how did you handle it?
Then there is time for you to ask questions at the end
I did not get the job but i hope this helps someone who is also going for the position!

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AECOM (Sydney) in May 2022
Interview
The interview was quite informal and casual. Discussion about career goals and what I want in a role. Had a talk about my background and the company culture. Questions were behavioural and how you would deal with disagreeing with management and standards of scientific practice.

I applied online. I interviewed at AECOM (Melbourne)
Interview
The application process took about 2 months. Steps consisted of the online application, psychometric testing, video interview, Assessment Centre and Individual Interview (3 person panel).
Because I undertook mine during the COVID-19 situation, interviews were conducted online. This allowed smaller groups for the AC to be facilitated. People were more open to speak and this allowed for a more comfortable yet slightly risky (should your internet fail) experience.
