      Interview

There was a case study and multiple interviewers. All were nice, but some were a bit unorganized. One interviewer reviewed my resume during the beginning while in the call before asking me any questions.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (City of London, England) in Nov 2008

      Interview

First round: Very straight forward. You're asked the basics; why you want to apply to Accenture, why you chose your degree, what does Accenture do and who are their competitors. I was asked about enterprise resource planning and about the differences between SAP and Oracle. Afterwards I was given a short paragraph detailing a company that had 3 problems for you to identify and develop a solution to the problems. The interviewer was generally friendly however the office seemed quite empty. There didn't seem to be as much office cohesion as one would accept. Most people seemed like drones. Second round: The interview processes started with about 20 minutes to read a document that had interviews from a company and other extracts after which I was given a 1:1 interview. It started with a repeat of the first round; why do you want to join Accenture etc. Then the questoins regarding the document started; it related to major problems in the company and what you would do to sort them out. It was very fast paced and the woman who interviewed me was quite harsh in a way. After this you are split into a group and you need to discuss the same company and prioritize the company problems. It turns out everyone is given slightly different information. The next task was a document review. You're given a 14-15 page document and you're set with 15 minutes to read through the document and highlight any errors such as poor indentation, poor labelling etc. The final major task of the interview was to break off into groups once again and you're given an 'innovation' task. My task was to come up with innovative and creative methods of solving the overcrowding and underfunding of the London Underground. Within this everyone had to come up with at least one idea and then we had to take on someone else's idea and we were given a set of different budgets in which we needed to argue about who should apply for what budget. You were then to present a 30 second presentation based on why you should get that budget. The final part of the day was to have an 'informal' chat where you're asked how the day went and whom else you may have applied to. Overall the second round resulted in a very negative impression of Accenture. The intreviewers made the atmosphere uncomfortable. While the analysts seem quite friendly the HR team with whom you work with on the 2nd round seemed quite two-faced. It seemed quite unappealing in the end.

      Application

I applied through university. I interviewed at Accenture

      Interview

Applied through my college job site and was selected for an on-campus interview with Accenture within a few days. Normal interview, nothing too difficult. The recruiter asked me to go through my resume and asked me a bunch of behavioral questions. Unfortunately, I was unable to adequately prepare for the interview which is probably why I was not asked to continue to the next step.

      Question 1

Questions were mostly general; nothing too difficult.
