As a native English speaker who was pursuing a master degree in Latvia , I was told I did not pass the English test, meanwhile there was a latvian who confined to me after the interview that he wrote almost nothing , yet he was offered the job. After confronting the HR about this , they lied to me that immigration office instructed all companies in Latvia to stop recruiting foreigners .
