I applied online. I interviewed at Cotton On (Morwell) in Nov 2022
Interview
Online video interview process that was 30 minutes mainly a discussion between myself and the regional manager and store manager, and a few questions to see if i was the right fit
The interview process felt unnecessarily excessive for retail sales associate role, and did not reflect what I would expect the actual work environment to be. The interviewer came across as more authoritative than a professional, which created an uncomfortable experience. As a regional director and panel interviewer, there appeared to be a lack of meaningful engagement and preparednesswith questions, seeming scripted and not focused on relevant areas, such as customer service scenarios or applicable experience. Overall, the interview did not feel aligned with the role conducted in a constructive, professional manner.
Really chill, the interview process is like a relax conversation, just be confident and wear appropriately, make sure to put smile on your face, and ensure to smell good and again be confident!!!!
