I applied through university. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at EY (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
I interviewed for an IT Risk Advisory position within FSO. I applied through my university's job portal and was shortly contacted about scheduling phone interviews--two back-to-back phone behavioral interviews asking about my background/experience based on my resume. I was then flown in for an in-person interview: a (fairly laid back) case interview with a senior manager and behavioral/culture and job-fit type interview with a partner. Overall great experience and nothing to stress over too much. Definitely worth brushing up on IT risk concepts for the case.

Interview
I applied through my campus website and got an interview the next week. It was a 30 min interview, very chill just walk through my resume and no technical questions at all. The interviewer is really nice and there is a reception the night before the interview for us to get to know more about everyone even before the interview. However it took them really long to get back to us and some of my friends have not gotten back any responds even though it has been almost 3 weeks already.
The interviewer said it will take them only a week and I emailed follow up emails with him but no reply at all. I was disappointed with their efficiency since they are a well known company.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at EY (Rochester, NY) in Feb 2014
Interview
I was approached by a recruiter on LinkedIn. We connected and talked on the phone about my experience and my goals. After I had a phone interview with a Senior Manager. After the phone interview I was asked to come into the office for a second round interview. I had two interviews and lunch with a Manager. I also had to complete a writing assessment as part of the interview process.
