I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Google in Jan 2022
Interview
Had an initial phone screen with recruiter, then an interview with the hiring manager, then an interview with a peer on the team. I got rejected for the initial role I applied for but got bounced over to another less technical team and they ended up hiring me (had to repeat this process twice, so 5-6 total interviews).

Imagine you are deciding whether or not to get solar panels installed on your house. The up front cost would be X, and your monthly electric bill savings would be Y. How long would it take to break even? What other data points might you consider (qualitative and quantitative) in making this decision?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Google
Interview
Got a preliminary screening call from HR. Had a good conversation about work history and technical questions. When the interview was finished, the HR rep told me they would pass my resume to all the finance depts. I didn't make it past that round.
