I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Microsoft
Interview
Fairly straightforward, mostly behavioral type questions. One phone interview and onsite/panel (Skype).
Specifically, my process was a bit unique in that I spoke with a team member first (phone screen) and then spoke with team/panel. I was not granted an onsite, rather a Skype based panel.
Process was very broken and seemed recruiters did not actively communicate with hiring team. Was told 2 days prior that I would be traveling onsite. One day before, I was given instructions for a Skype dial in call. Was also not given schedule/timeline until day of.
Did not receive any sort of communication after interview process (including a 3 hour Skype panel interview).
Advise to interviewee -- make sure you bother the recruiting team for all details as the recruiting process seems a bit broken.
