Interview
It was a phone screening interview with hiring manager, it wasn’t that difficult. It was mostly around my resume. She gave me few scenarios where she was testing my knowledge to apply basic principle of finance. It lasted for 45 minutes.
Starts with resume screening and a recruiter phone call, followed by technical or functional interviews with problem-solving, coding, or case studies, plus behavioral questions based on LEAD principles. Attend an onsite or virtual loop, meet teams, and, if successful, receive an offer after reference checks.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft (Redmond, WA) in Sept 2024
Interview
I enjoyed the interview process. Had to go through 2 rounds of interviews. first round and second round was a superday. Just had to share about myself and why i wanna work for MSFT. Mostly behavioral and business analysis-technical type of questions. it was fun. I enjoyed it.
Need to be well prepared, quite a lot of technical questions, not a lot of behavioral questions. the people were very nice. Very welcoming & seemed like a friendly team.
