Question 1
Why Microsoft? How do you convince someone to make a change?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft (Reading, England) in Dec 2022
Interview
They asked questions all around their core values. They don't usually have technical based questions for these non techical roles like products and sales. The way I found the interview was that it is very conversational so keep it that way don't be robotic, recruiters see right through it.
I applied online. I interviewed at Microsoft (Lagos) in Mar 2022
Interview
Interview was in 4 stages. If you qualify for the next round you would be contacted for the next interview date. I made it to the 4th and final stage but unfortunately could not get the role. It was a nice experience. Questions were geared towards how much you know about the company and your leadership, working and volunteering experiences. If you have those then you're good to go. Final stage had two interview on the same day, one was them trying to know you and the second was assessment of skill. It was a sales role and I am a software engineer so I didn't perform to well. Except from my good knowledge about the products I was asked to sell, I didn't impress them further. It was a good experience though
