I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Microsoft in Mar 2024
Interview
Clarity of Questions: Evaluate if the questions in the Google Form are clear and easy to understand. Ambiguity in questions can lead to confusion and inaccurate responses.
Relevance of Questions: Assess whether the questions are relevant to the purpose of the interview or the information being sought. Irrelevant questions can waste both the interviewer's and interviewee's time.
Structure and Organization: Consider the organization of the form. Are questions logically arranged? Is there a clear flow to the interview process? A well-structured form can enhance the user experience.
User-Friendliness: Evaluate the overall user-friendliness of the form. Is it easy to navigate? Are there clear instructions provided? A user-friendly form encourages participation and completion.
Response Options: Review the response options provided. Are they appropriate and inclusive? Offering a variety of response formats (e.g., multiple-choice, short answer) can accommodate different preferences and types of information.

Question 1
Suppose you are given an array of integers. Write a function to return the maximum product of three numbers from the array.
Example:
Input: [1, 2, 3, 4]
Output: 24 (as the maximum product can be obtained by multiplying 2, 3, and 4)
Straightforward technical loop overall, with strong interviewers at every stage. I genuinely enjoyed the in-depth conversations around technical challenges and algorithmic problem-solving — the entire process felt well-structured and genuinely engaging.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Microsoft (Bangalore Rural) in June 2026
Interview
The interview was hard, even as a fresher the dsa they asked was hard category after I checked on leetcode. Though I couldn't solve it. Some of the other people who interviewed were asked easy - medium dsa
The interview was a long process. There was first the recruiter screen, which was followed by a 4-loop interview structure that covered technical, behavioral, and system design. The interviewers were very kind and accommodating.
