Question 1
Question 1: What is the difference between == and === in JavaScript?
I applied online. I interviewed at Microsoft (Prague) in Jan 2026
Interview
Interview consisted of 4 rounds (3 technical + 1 culture), 1 hour each.
Each technical round had same structure:
- Interviewer introduces themselves
- I introduce myself (experience)
- Live coding
- Q&A
Recruiter & team managed to fit all 4 rounds into 2 days and I got a response next Monday, so it felt super quick
All interviewers were friendly and pleasant to talk to. Generally, livecoding tasks are simple, allowing any language (except React task) and situational pseudo-code, I didn't record but it felt like 10-20 minutes each. Last 10 minutes were for Q&A mainly from my side, the rest is just talks about experience, position, projects, AI, tech etc.
