I applied through reference, First round was containing basic questions on ABAP, OO concepts. This went on for 45 mins, they cannot ask you something else from BASICS. (Many of my friends did not get selected in this round itself for an unknown reason). we all know abstraction, encapsulation right? why reject after answering correctly? No clue! I was lucky to find out more about how else they can reject! Second round was about detailing about the projects I have worked for. again for 45 mins, Third round was managerial, this was again detailing about the entire journey, family background, more something about myself. Puzzles, and C++ algorithms. went for 1+ hour. Manager said after third round, you can meet the HR in person, Guess what? HR said he is not in the same building when I called. He said he shall update me with the further process over phone saying I must have had a long day clearing 3 rounds. How courteous. I was overwhelmed. Note that I had an offer and my joining date was in next 2 days, HR asked me to push the joining date with the next employer until he comes up with the results so that they can carry out the next process. Now I was expecting the response as per his words that he shall call me with the next round, pushing the joining date with the next employer. After waiting for 5 days I myself called HR asking the status, he asked to call next day. When I called the next day he says unfortunately they will not be able to proceed with my profile further and asked me to go ahead with my other offer which I had in hand. I totally agree they cannot release the offer immediately and I was ready to wait, but what I did not understand is, why they made me push the joining date with the next employer, why they did not update that my profile is not selected until I called and inquired. Guys this is not the place for lateral hires in my opinion. Do not waste time attending and keeping false hopes. The grounds on which they reject your profile is unknown. They are not honest, they will conduct interviews for passing their time and wasting others time. May be they want to make you feel sad that you are not the campus hire for SAP and they just want to show off they are in a great place. Well, good luck to them! Let them be in peace.

There were 4 total rounds, 2 technical 1 hiring manager and 1 HR, technical rounds were difficult and required deep SAP and ABAP knowlegede, other 2 rounds were fairly straightforward
