      Education Manager Interview

      11 Jan 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SAP in Jan 2012

      Interview

Interviewed four times with several managers. Very little interaction with HR or recruiting team, but it was clear that the managers with whom I was interviewing knew their roles and and teams very well and deeply understood the needs of their business. They also had a clear vision for the next year, as well as a clear 3 and 5 year plan and had a strong idea of the leader they wanted to hire to help get the team to that place. Their interview questions were well thought out in order to drill down to the candidate's behaviors and choices in the past to determine if there was a fit.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Hardest questions were behavioral based -- how I'd handle specific situations in the job (tough business situations, customers who were challenging, etc.)
