I applied through university. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2017
Interview
I spoke to Salesforce at my school's career fair and was contacted to schedule an on-campus interview the day after. Had a 30-45 min technical interview on campus the day after getting this email. I was then invited to an on-site interview for a specific team that was a really great exposure to the company and the team I was placed on. This included breakfast, two interviews, and lunch. I heard back 1.5 weeks later with a team change, had a 20-30 min phone conversation with my manager, and then a few days after got an offer email from a recruiter.
