I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Uber (Pittsburgh, PA) in Aug 2015
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter. Phone interview, followed by a homework round which was given a week's time, followed by 5 personal interviews onsite. 4 of the personal interviews were technical and the final one was with the hiring manager. The people who interviewed me were really smart and very much engaging. However there was a long hiatus between rounds and the communication by the recruiter during this period was minimal.

Question 1
Phone interview questions were to test the basics in the area that I was interviewing in.
Tough but fair, thought it could have been more involved but they had their ideal candidate already in mind before the interview began. Would interview again for an engineering role.

Question 1
How would you improve workflow of the engineering process?
Low speed and low efficient team. I did the first phone interview in 2 months ago, and just heard back from the onsite about two weeks ago. The interview process is just ok, but they seems only have one answer, without accepting any other alternative answers. The behavior question is also weird.

Question 1
How to solve the conflicts between you work and your manager’s expectation?
Fair phone interview asked about quadtree encoding ... then flew me up to Pittsburgh where I met the team on the campus. Small teams working on difficult problems.
