Step 1: recruiter call - recruiter was approachable and friendly. Explained the role at a high level.
Step 2: hiring manager interview - Usual behavioral questions, why uber eats, why should we pick you etc.
Step 3: case study: Very time consuming, and also very broad, so had to make lots of 'assumptions'.
Overall interview process was 7/10.

Question 1
tell me what Uber has done well since pandemic and what has done poorly ?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA) in July 2019
Interview
I applied online through Uber portal and received an invitation for catch-up with the recruiter. This was the screening round and the questions were mostly about my experience and their relevance to the role. As soon as the call ended, the recruiter sent me an analytical exercise, and I had 2 working days to submit a detailed presentation on it.
Upon clearing this round, I was invited for onsite interviews, which were 4 back to back rounds. 3 of these were behavioral rounds and the 4th was panel presentation of the analytical exercise that I had submitted earlier.
Upon clearing the on-site round, I was then interviewed by the Director of the org. This was mostly a fitment round.
1 week later, I had the offer!
Overall the process took me 4 weeks, but the entire process was very well run. The entire panel was very friendly and the recruiter especially was very reachable and forthcoming with answers to any and all questions that I had.
