We have partnered with a global firm that is looking for a Senior Java Engineer, someone with a strong focus on data, to join their team and work across projects within institutional banking.

Company/Role
Based here in Sydney, you will collaborate with development teams to develop, test, and implement ETL pipelines for data integration within the bank. You will need to possess a strong understanding of data, so the role is ideal for a Senior Java Engineer that has strong knowledge of data manipulation, worked on data platforms, moved data, load and transformation. You will proactively drive continuous improvement across the organisation, helping with automation of tasks and optimisation. The team is large and working in a hybrid model, you will need to have strong communication skills and strong exposure to developing databases.

Requirements
Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Excellent knowledge of data, helping to build databases in SQL and working across data manipulation, processing, and moving data.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Any experience with Kotlin is highly regarded.
Experience in Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
