I worked at British Red Cross full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The organisation gives opportunities to junior staff and is a good place to start your career in international development.

    Cons

Very toxic environment at London level that somehow transfers to overseas offices. Zero accountability to the people they serve or the funds they manage. In fact senior management do their best to hide serious issues in order to maintain the name of British Red Cross. Wouldn't recommend for senior professionals.
