Lack of diversity, leadership has too much control over all aspects of the organization, doesn't value all employees, favoritism is shown to some employees

Low pay, management micromanages to the nth degree, expected to be over-extended and if you're not you're viewed as not a team player, the board is either clueless about how low morale is or chooses to not investigate why the turnover rate is so high, leadership bullies current and former employees, no real HR, no real growth opportunities, blames current internal issues on former employees, attorneys throw advocates under the bus when it's convenient to do so without any evidence usually leading to advocates quitting (no volunteer deserves to endure this)

Low pay. Had frequently changing leadership, but they are now more stable.

This was a very difficult, micromanaging organizational culture to work in. Many decisions or projects were reversed, dropped or changed without explanation from senior leadership. There is very high staff turnover as new staff quickly see the very difficult and unpredictable culture.

Leadership is emotional and does not know how to maintain professionalism. Leadership makes irrational decisions without thinking them through. If you bring up concerns they will push you out the door. There is no diversity.

lots of nepotism. leadership is very gossipy and pick and choose their favorites. not typically open to feedback.
