Pros

Best company I have ever worked for in my entire life. They really do back you all the way and make sure that every part of our lives is stable. When my uncle passed away and brother got thrown into jail they paid me in full and gave me compassionate leave as well. I had covid and was taken into a quarantine center by the government and American Express covered me in full. When it came to looking after me they really went above and beyond.

Cons

I didn’t enjoy the pressure of the job as we have to answer anything from 40 to 60 calls per day/shift and sometimes even up to a 100 calls. I started to feel a shift in my mood after talking to all these people that were of course calling in due to their financial frustration but I learnt a lot from this role. And the part I did not enjoy at all was working Night Shift. That was brutal. I also had to work my weekends and felt my days and nights were completely upside down.

Pros

- Complimentary lunch and starbucks everyday - On-site clinic for basic check ups - Hybrid

Cons

you will be taking phone calls every minute of the day. There will come a time where you feel like at the bottom of the world. You will ask yourself "is my role in life to help people reset their password online and assist them in logging in?" You cannot use the bathroom whenever you want, they have time coding that if you "abuse" them you will be flagged and subject to discipline. You have to give world class service but at the same time rush them off the phone or else you are not getting paid a good bonus. You will quickly find yourself gasping for air and time to relax when you take 50+ calls a day , you will feel drained. When is finally time to move up there is a high chance you will be paid less than you're current role as there are no bonuses in higher roles.
