Pros
great pay, benefits, flex, work from home
Cons
management incompetent, VERY high stress. They will tell you in the interview its not a sales job, but in training and on the job, 90% of focus is up-selling. Yes, the pay is great for upselling, you can make tons of money just by selling more, but the pressure is ridiculous. You will be pulled off the phone all the time just to have a meeting on how to sell more. You will be bombarded with slack messages all day every day about sells and your numbers. Calls are back to back literally from the moment you clock in until you clock out and you are expected to be in ready every second. management is not concerned with your mental health, only making sure you make their numbers look good so they can keep their job. And dont even get me started on how rude the customers are. Whining about their credit card and cursing you out or speaking to you horribly if you dont waive a fee for them. They throw temper tandums like entitled brats and you are expected to be their emotional punching bags with a smile. Micromanagement is freaking HORRIBLE. You cant even step away to pee for 5 minutes without being slacked about it. They treat their employees like robotic children. If you like being under pressure, having to answer calls literally back to back with no rest in between for your entire shift, every single shift, and being extremely micomanaged, then maybe this job is for you.
