Pros
- Good salary - Nice offices - Good name to have on your CV - Individually people are really nice, collectively a different story
Cons
- Poor culture and poor behaviours which results in staff being bullied and unsupported by stressed and overworked Directors/ Senior Managers - Very siloed working, even with increased office time there is minimum team spirit in some areas, so working in the office feels pointless - A lot of pressure is placed on VPs and below which impacts mental health and confidence - DB is difficult to navigate due to its size and so the support you will receive on navigating will be dependent on those around you supporting you - Lack of diversity in gender and race in areas - Difficult to get a feel for the bank when the focus is on delivering tasks and nothing more - DB does not provide laptops or devices on joining, so you will need to use your own
