    Pros

Great working environment. Building and facilities remain superior even 10 years after moving in. Long tenured staff mean people know what they are doing and happy to train and collaborate. Internal networks provide support and awareness for diversity and inclusion

    Cons

Long hours, increased pressure to cut costs, do more with less. Not a great deal of opportunity for promotion and progression due to the small footprint

I have been working at Deutsche Bank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Flexible work arrangements.
A few systems actually work well. But they are the exception.

    Cons

Many IT systems are so old and poorly designed it is impossible to be efficient.
Red tape slows so you down.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people who use these systems and invest in fixing broken and inefficient systems. We are bleeding productivity.

I worked at Deutsche Bank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Diverse range of roles, and hence opportunities. Onus on the employee to make use of this
    - Bright people
    - Good compensation, though becoming less so relative to peers as time passes
    - Good benefits (additional leave; parental leave)

    Cons

    - Undergoing a period of transition and restructuring. Currently painful for employees
    - Years of negative press and reduced compensation (relative to peers) have impacted staff morale
    - High expectations for staff, in particular to work outside normal business hours. Impacts work-life balance

    Advice to Management

    - Take action on restructuring rapidly and move back to focus on growth

    "Hiding headcount doesnt help."

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

Solid pay check. A few good people holding out. Perpetual promise on bonuses keeps us working. Good office facilities in most offices.

    Cons

Still not investing in growth. Investing too much in compliance who add little value. HIRE THROUGH THIRD PARTIES. IF YOU ARE OFFERED A ROLE MAKE SURE IT SAYS DEUTSCHE BANK ON CONTRACT.

    Advice to Management

Start investing in growth from the bottom up. We don't want to hear about all the great European hires and movement in roles being brought in on good terms when the client facing working class are getting less favorable terms put in front of them.
