You think you know the culture, but it's what you don't know that hurts you. - Copywriter Intuit Employee Review

Pros

Salary and benefits, employee networks, Idea Jams, working with intelligent people.

Cons

If you can be a brain-dead cheerleader for the concept-of-the-moment, then you'll go far. Learn to parrot back everything management says without any critical thoughts of your own. if you can think independently, you'll be a threat to people who like to follow a crowd. It's better to fit in than have a distinct personality. The more jargon you use, the better chance you have to advance in your career. Planning meetings are exercises in editing PowerPoint slides rather than creating a workable strategic plan for real 21st century business growth. Intuit's concept of diversity inclusion: bring your whole self to work, except for the parts we don't like.

Pros

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Cons

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
