Pros

Tons of benefits but probably my favorite one is the Spotlight recognition, where any employee can give a cash bonus to any other employee as a way of saying thank you for going above and beyond. The senior leaders at the company seem to actually care about the employees. During COVID the message we continually received was take care of yourself and families first. They also gave us plenty of extra time off and sick days to help support our families or even our own mental health. The company is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce. Tons of employee resource groups you can join to build community.

Cons

Intuit is a 40 year old company. With that comes a lot of legacy technology and systems that need to be maintained. On the plus side, we are undergoing a massive modernization effort to update to the latest technologies. There is a ton of work to do here across the company and our different products and we are well on our way in this journey. Rebuilding systems at scale and securely is not for the faint of heart.

Pros

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Cons

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
