Cons
- Some teams are still developing on medieval tech stack that were written in the early 90s. - The environment on some teams can be cutthroat and competitive. - Not much for upward mobility unless you really stand out or good at browning your nose. - The dynamics between certain teams can be hostile and uncollaborative. - Expect to work with a lot of Indian engineers and managers. They prefer to promote their own so upward mobility can be challenge. - Some code bases can be extremely convoluted due to lack of architectural planning and good housekeeping practices. - Occasional unexpected layoffs especially after the tax seasons. - The company is not yet ready to accept fully remote work even after the pandemic.
