Pros

Pros: Work-Life Balance: Intuit places a strong emphasis on maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Flexible working hours and the option for remote work are significant perks that help employees manage their personal and professional lives effectively. Compensation and Benefits: The company offers competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and generous paid time off. The stock options and bonuses can also be quite rewarding. Culture and Environment: The workplace culture at Intuit is generally positive and inclusive. There is a strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the company often engages in community outreach and volunteer activities. The office environment is collaborative and supportive, fostering innovation and teamwork.

Cons

Management: While some teams have excellent leadership, the quality of management can vary significantly across different departments. Some managers may lack the necessary skills to effectively lead their teams, resulting in inconsistent experiences for employees. Workload and Expectations: At times, the workload can be overwhelming, especially during peak periods. This can lead to stress and burnout if not managed properly. There is often a high expectation to deliver results quickly, which can be challenging. Bureaucracy: As with many large companies, there can be a fair amount of red tape and bureaucracy that slows down decision-making processes. This can be frustrating for employees who are looking to make swift, impactful changes or innovations. Career Progression: While there are opportunities for professional development, the path to career advancement can be unclear or slow. Some employees may find it difficult to move up the ranks or switch roles within the company.

Pros

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Cons

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
