Pros

Chance of accelerated promotions by virtue of being the last man standing Biggest accounting firm on the island so opportunity to meet people, if hanging out with colleagues after work is your thing

Cons

The place is run like a pirateship HR falsely advertise roles to unwitting candidates and have been known for on the spot firing, and trying to stop payroll to claw back relocation costs. In addition there are issues of objectivity with the performance partner being the wife of another partner. A significant proportion of managers often have issues with giving any guidance because they themselves lack expertise since they are promoted from supervisor to manager within the short timeframe of 1 year. The firm is chronically understaffed and budgets are ridiculously low so busy seasons are prolonged and seniors have to get through an overwhelmingly large volume of workloads. The bonuses are marginally better than other firms on the island however the base is much lower and compensation is inadequate for the amount of stress work that is done. The environment is also extremely cliquey, unless you are Souh African or Caymanian it's tough to fit in

Pros

Good Benefits - Get the week of the fourth of July and the week of Christmas off every year.

Cons

They say we are doing well but everyone is stagnant. No real opportunities to get promoted or raises. Gone through 3 layoffs. Management says that no one is leaving because they love working there but no one is leaving because the market is bad. That is the reason for a backlog of folks trying to move up.
