Pros

Good office view in Barangaroo

Cons

This is the worst place to work ever You will QUIT or want to quit in 6 months because you don’t see your future here Or become part of the furniture till get Partner because you worth nothing in the industry. Tries to cost cutting for every thing: self-funded after 6pm drinks, self-funded year end party.. pathetic. People are competitive and love to sabotage each other + no diversity at all - no wonder they were investigated by the gov for recruiting only white people. Partners are useless and incapable but still there are so many of them - even more than grads!

Pros

You get to work with an awesome, highly resilient group of local peers in the advisory practice. The KPMG brand still holds value, but the internal team dynamics have become incredibly fractured.

Cons

We have outsourced 80%+ of our Risk Advisory work, leaving onshore seniors with massive gaps in their experience. As a manager, I am stuck doing senior-level work because I typically have only one or zero local seniors or associates on my teams. The best leaders have already resigned because this model prevents actual management and mentoring. Also, it might take you 30+ years to become partner in Risk Advisory, if at all.
