Pros
They do try to take care of their people; although I suspect this has more to do with fear of losing them to competitors. Regional Senior Management is generally inspired and exceptionally competent; regrettably, they appear to be regularly undermined and overruled by the US Corporate HQ.
Cons
In my division, at least, the Corporate Management doesn't listen to the Senior Managers in the field, who know what they're doing. The company is unbelievably Redmond-centric considering how much they pride themselves on being global. The company resembles an innovator much less than it does an inept, bloated bureaucracy.
