Pros

Good work atmosphere, No entry-exit times, Good work-life balance, Everyone outside tells you that they also want to work at SAP some day.

Cons

Very Socialistic, after high performance for so many years I am paid almost equal to average performers, if you kill the incentive to perform well you automatically produce more non performers, why can't you HR and managers understand? Every Salary cycle I am told, we will fix your salary in the next year. They have some stupid compa ratio according to which I was paid low last year, Now i have moved to mid level pay according to my band and experience, even after a minimal hike. quite funny. Freshers from college and 3-5 years people salary have very less difference. Some stupid bonus calculation resulted in everyone getting there bonus reduced to 83.4%, the co-CEO's had 40% hike last year they wouldn't have realized this cut. low hikes given because the attrition is less

Pros

I really liked my role at SAP. After being a cloud Customer Success Manager supporting strategic clients for several years, I moved into a group doing digital customer outreach including producing newsletters, release enablement, webcasts, documentation, event registrations, etc. Salary and bonuses were good, no complaints there.

Cons

No real cons for the job that I was in, except that our group was eliminated by the corporate restructuring and reduction in workforce in North America in 2025. I would have loved to stay but unfortunately we probably showed up on a restructuring spreadsheet somewhere and it was determined that our services were no longer needed. We off-boarded most of our work to other existing employees (who already had full time jobs), which felt unfair to them, but that is how it shook out.
