Pros

Good benefits, great enterprise and leading business software solution products.

Cons

SAP LATAM is the epitome of the Latin macho boys’ club. The toxic and hostile environment is not only within the North team, but it is also fomented and perpetuated by its top leaders and complicit with human resources. As a former employee, who was subjected to age, gender, ethnic discrimination and inappropriate touching harassment, I was fired in retaliation three business days after an unresolved mediation with the EEOC. After almost 5 years of loyal service and enduring this level of employee treatment, SAP discharged me in the most inhumane and humiliated manner without severance and without completion of expense reimbursement. They don’t practice what they preach, high turnover in management and promotion of unqualified talent based on favoritism. At SAP you are only a number.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. At SAP, we’ve always had a strong culture of respect, supported by a comprehensive Global Anti-Discrimination Policy. SAP is committed to this Policy, and provides all employees with training to prevent discrimination, harassment (including sexual harassment) and retaliation. We support our employees by providing multiple forums to report incidents which we objectively investigate in order to implement appropriate resolutions. If you have not already reported your concerns to us, we strongly encourage you to contact us directly so that we can conduct an objective investigation. Creating a diverse and inclusive culture is critical to making SAP both a great place to work and a successful company. At SAP, we‘re committed not only to the principles that underlie this culture, but to the day-to-day practices that bring it to life which is further demonstrated by our ranking in the Global Top 100 for Gender Equality Global Report & Ranking.

Pros

The people at SAP are genuinely nice, and the culture is generally supportive. The work-life balance is good to an extent, but when you're busy, you're BUSY. SAP is highly complex so expect to take a year to ramp up.

Cons

Only way to get a high salary is if you're hired externally. They do not reward employees who are loyal to the company. Closed opportunities often have to go through the Compensation Exception Committee, creating uncertainty around earnings. Prepare for constant change, whether that's solutions being removed from your sales bag, account shifts, territory realignments, or changing compensation policies. Quotas can be difficult to attain
