Pros

- Great emphasis on work/life balance, especially for those who have families. The family-related benefits in particular seem relatively better vs. most companies in Singapore, allowing you to have more time & focus on your family. - Can periodically provide free food, especially for medium-large events. India & Germany offices have free food 24/7 from what I heard. - Monetary compensation and/or benefits are decent for a big tech company, but relatively amazing vs. other European tech companies. Stock benefit program in particular is quite flexible, allowing you better control of the stock benefits that you get. - Have a good sense of striving for innovation and adapt to current technologies, even though the adoption rate may be on the slower-side compared to other tech companies. - Starting to adopt a more 'fast & agile' approach while trying to balance out work/life balance , which is great for those looking for early career or introduction into the tech sector, especially Business/HR-related software products.

Cons

- Notable inefficiencies in management, i.e. getting things done/into production can be quite slow due to company size & European-style bureaucracy. - Career progression for jobs under technical tracks (Engineering, Data Science/Research) are usually rather slow due to aforementioned company size & bureaucracy. - Company size also mean impact of work/contribution may not be properly compensated & compensated, unless you have close connection to the 'top management'. This results in top talent to leave company rather early to pursue progression in other companies instead.

Pros

The people at SAP are genuinely nice, and the culture is generally supportive. The work-life balance is good to an extent, but when you're busy, you're BUSY. SAP is highly complex so expect to take a year to ramp up.

Cons

Only way to get a high salary is if you're hired externally. They do not reward employees who are loyal to the company. Closed opportunities often have to go through the Compensation Exception Committee, creating uncertainty around earnings. Prepare for constant change, whether that's solutions being removed from your sales bag, account shifts, territory realignments, or changing compensation policies. Quotas can be difficult to attain
