Make your own hours, turn on/off with no scheduling blocks, very nice payroll app with debit card and money from trips is immediately on the Uber Pro card upon completion, rental programs (availability varies)
Cons
Base pay has come up, but tips have also drastically come down in 9 years and costs to operate steadily if not sharply rise - I recommend ignoring your acceptance rate and only accept trips with reasonable $/mi (time considered) being offered upfront as tips are fairly rare these days. When I first started drivers kept 90% of the total amount charged to the customer, this has changed a ton. Platform charges a technology fee which is separate from the fare and the driver gets 0% of that, then they take 25-30% of the fare also, the opportunity has decreased significantly for drivers.
