Pros

The company provides nice offices and convenient locations to work in and is helpful in meeting your needs for remote work. General company culture is helpful and friendly and laid back. Its easy to talk to co-workers and other employees.

Cons

General pay is low for the industry. Its difficult for pay raises to keep up with inflation or other changes with the industry. Also the tech stack that is used is built in house and largely poorly supported or documented. This can lead to very frustrating and hard to debug errors occurring in the web server framework. This leads to work-arounds and poorly understood code tricks being used to achieve tasks. The only way to understand these work-arounds or code tricks is to have another dev explain whats going on to you. Bugs and errors in web server framework can silently error or give very poorly worded errors and can lead to lots of manual debugging/testing.

Pros

“Some team members are genuinely supportive and easy to collaborate with, though the overall experience can vary depending on the person.

Cons

Training has been the most inconsistent I’ve experienced in a corporate environment. Expectations are high, but the role itself changes frequently, often without clear communication or proper support. A recent reorganization shifted responsibilities and workloads, and it felt like it was used to delay or avoid well‑deserved raises and promotions across the team. Leadership has also increased micromanagement and plans to move toward a mandatory 2‑day in‑office schedule next year, which adds additional strain without improving collaboration.
