      Pros

      Benefits/9/80-new hands get lots of early opportunity to contribute

      Cons

      CEO and Board seem to have a blind spot as it relates to the CFO. He is disrespectful and uses the better performance mantra to demean others and shade things ethically. Very disappointing to see how this leadership is not only tolerated but increasingly given more and more influence. Leading through fear and intimidation never works long term and I suspect we will see more good people leave when prices turn.

      -Flex 9/80 Schedule -Competitive pay -Nice co-workers in general

      Cons

      -No vision/strategy from executive management -Technical work has dramatically reduced in quality -Few opportunities for advancement and exposure to new projects -Management continues to double-down on uneconomic shale plays and selling of conventional assets -Stock value consistently underperforming peer group -Good old boy system still in place, management suffers from lack of of technical knowledge (process or project managers, do not understand value of technical work) -Morale has not recovered from the layoffs 6 months ago. Top talent still leaving the company in a downturn. -Little to no exploration activity for foreseeable future

      Pros

      This company offers flex schedule unmatched by any of it's peers. Pay is fairly competitive although there are certainly better-paying companies out there.

      Cons

      Extremely political environment, especially since price of oil has started to fall. Add in incompetence of management (starting from the very top) and you quickly got enough reasons to run.
