This is obviously a disappointing 1st review on Glassdoor although we do appreciate the feedback. As a small company with a very flat structure we encourage all employees to be open and discuss their thoughts with us (at various one to one meetings or to just ask for a chat at any time). Small businesses aren't for everyone, we have a grown up environment where we expect grads / juniors to be able to support themselves after a few months without heavy KPi's and micro management. Some individuals need more structure, process and direct task management - we don't do that and see that as an advantage. Our turnover is definitely not high, in fact it is significantly low for a recruitment business. 43% of our staff have been at the firm for over 5 years; 67% for over 2 years...but as a sales driven recruitment business, with a very demanding client base, we do have to part company with non-performers from time to time.

Only realise how bad it is when you leave

Pros

Some helpful people in the office.

Cons

Not diverse. Too many men work here. Toxic environment for any woman. Made feel extremely left out at times with this boy-like culture. The pay is way better elsewhere. For the amount of work you do, it is not appreciated. I didn’t realise how bad this place was until I worked elsewhere. No offence to the few nice people. Micro-managed most the time and company culture is border line misogynistic.
