Cons

Income can be inconsistent. Long hours and traffic can be tiring. No strong job stability or benefits.

Only "job" I've ever done where you make less year over year, rides on the backs of contractors while actively trying to pay them less and replace them with robots

You can make your own schedule. Meet a lot of interesting people who mostly very polite and you get the occasional tips as well.

Cons

Surge, Ride bonus promotions, and even to smaller extent I think the fares have come down.
