In India, infrastructure and maintenance pose as critical challenges for hospitals that must be addressed for effective #healthcare delivery. #InfosysFoundation has consistently stepped up to support healthcare facilities, and one of its initiatives has been the funding of the pediatric ward at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar. Originally constructed in 2003 with the Foundation's support, this vital unit was created to meet an urgent need, and it lacked a dedicated building. After 15 years of service, significant renovations were necessary to continue providing quality healthcare facilities for young patients. The Foundation's efforts included repairing walls, ceilings, and flooring, as well as renovating rooms to create a more welcoming space. Colorful graffiti was added to bring joy and vibrancy to the ward, to promote healing and comfort for children during their recovery. By investing in essential #infrastructure, the Foundation aims to ensure that every child receives the quality care they deserve. #InfosysCSR | #CommunitySupport
