Today is R U OK? Day, but at Metcash, we believe every day is a chance to ask "R U OK?" Mental health is a priority for us, and we’re proud to support our team with more than 5% of our workforce trained as accredited Mental Health First Aiders. In addition, we’re excited to offer our team members access to our brand new EAP provider, Converge International, along with a range of Health and Wellbeing Benefits to help ensure proactive support is always available. Creating a Psychosocially Safe Workplace means caring for one another daily, so everyone can return home to what matters most. A special shout-out to our Metcash QLD team for supporting Matt Hockings from Ritchies IGA. Matt is embarking on an incredible journey, riding 2,000 km in just 10 days to raise awareness and funds for R U OK? With the team’s $3,000 donation, we’re right behind Matt as he cycles from Upper Coomera down the East Coast to Sydney and then onto Carrum Downs in Southern Victoria. Go Matt!
